YouTube began to put a bow on 2021 by sharing its top 10 lists of top ads, trending videos, top creators, top YouTube Shorts creators, top music videos and breakout creators for the year.

The top 10 ads in the U.S. this year were:

  1. Amazon: Alexa’s Body
  2. T-Mobile: #TheGOATin5G
  3. HBO Max: Justice League (Official Trailer)
  4. Netflix: The Mitchells vs. The Machines (Official Trailer)
  5. Apple: Privacy on iPhone
  6. Peloton: Beyonce Classes (video no longer publicly available on advertiser’s channel)
  7. Uber Eats: Wayne’s World & Cardi B’s Shameless Manipulation
  8. Toyota: The Pitch
  9. State Farm Insurance: Drake from State Farm (video no longer publicly available on advertiser’s channel)
