Snapchat Hopes to Heat Up During 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo

More than 44 million unique viewers in the U.S. watched NBC Olympics-partnered content during the 2018 Winter Olympic Games from PyeongChang, South Korea, up over 25% from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. So, what will the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo bring?

Snapchat said that globally, over 80 million unique users watched Olympics content via its platform during the 2018 Winter Games.

U.S. Snapchatters viewed more than 16 billion filters, over 15 billion augmented reality lenses and more than 1.8 billion Snaps during the 2018 Olympics, and they sent billions of filters and lenses.
