Facebook vice president of messaging products David Marcus provided an update on the Chat Extensions for Facebook Messenger that the social network introduced at its F8 developers conference last month.

Marcus said in a Facebook post that Chat Extensions enable multiple Messenger users to chat with the same businesses at the same time, adding that brands that are using the feature include Spotify, theScore, OpenTable, Food Network, the National Basketball Association, The Wall Street Journal and Kayak.

He wrote:

We recently announced Chat Extensions, enabling multiple people to chat with the same business at the same time. Here’s how it works: tap the plus (+) icon to see the Chat Extension options. From there, you can select which one to add to your group. You can currently find Chat Extensions from your favorite brands like Spotify, theScore, OpenTable, Food Network, NBA, The Wall Street Journal and Kayak—with many more on the way.
