Facebook confirmed that it will shut down Bonfire, the Houseparty-like group video chat application it began testing in Denmark in September 2017.
The app was never available in the U.S.
A Facebook spokesperson said, “In May, we’ll be ending support for the Bonfire tests. We’ll incorporate elements of what we learned into other current and future products.”
The app’s listing on the iTunes App Store in Denmark read upon its debut, “Welcome to Bonfire, a new way to group video chat.
