Judge Puts Twitter’s Suit Vs. Elon Musk on Hold So Both Parties Can Finalize Their Deal

Judge Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick of the Delaware Court of Chancery put Twitter’s case against acquirer, non-acquirer and re-acquirer Elon Musk on hold until Oct. 28 to give the two parties the chance to finalize the deal.

She wrote in her order, “This action is stayed until 5 p.m. Oct. 28 to permit the parties to close on the transaction. If the transaction does not close by 5 p.m. Oct. 28, the parties are instructed to contact me by email that evening to obtain November 2022 trial dates.”
