Judge Kathaleen St. Jude McCormick of the Delaware Court of Chancery put Twitter’s case against acquirer, non-acquirer and re-acquirer Elon Musk on hold until Oct. 28 to give the two parties the chance to finalize the deal.
She wrote in her order, “This action is stayed until 5 p.m. Oct. 28 to permit the parties to close on the transaction. If the transaction does not close by 5 p.m. Oct. 28, the parties are instructed to contact me by email that evening to obtain November 2022 trial dates.”
