PepsiCo lit up the internet six months ago when it announced that alcohol-fueled Hard Mountain Dew was in the works, with fans clamoring for a version of the drink they had been DIY-ing for years and critics likening it to the fall of civilization.

Well, the wait is over, at least for consumers in Tennessee, Iowa and Florida, where Hard Mountain Dew goes on sale today in 24-ounce cans and 12-ounce variety packs. The product, with 5% alcohol by volume, comes in Baja Blast, original Dew, black cherry and watermelon flavors.
