Global consultancy Accenture is set to acquire consumer analytics business GemSeek, enhancing the company’s data and artificial intelligence capabilities while expanding the footprint of marketing services arm Accenture Song in Bulgaria.

GemSeek, which employs over 170 people in Bulgaria and the U.K., will merge with Accenture Song, although terms of the transaction have not been revealed.

The acquisition will lead to the foundation of Accenture Song in Bulgaria. Before the deal, there were 1,100 Accenture employees in Bulgaria, from the company’s advanced technology and intelligent operations centers.

Founded in 2011 and currently led by CEO Petko Tinchev, GemSeek offers analytics and customer experience program management, as well as proprietary technologies.
