Snap Reaches Pact With NBCUniversal for Sounds From Movies, TV Series, Peacock Originals

Snapchatters can swipe up for additional information about where the clip originated

Snapchatters across the globe can now add Sounds from NBCUniversal movies, television series and original programming from Peacock to their Snaps under terms of an agreement revealed Monday.

When a user receives a Snap with a Sound, they can swipe up to view additional information about the key art and title of the movie or series that the audio clip originated from.

A “Play This Sound” link will open a web view powered by Linkfire, enabling Snapchatters to access the relevant content via the streaming platforms where it is available.
