Twitter recently rolled out Fleets, its disappearing tweets that resemble Stories posts on Facebook and Instagram. The Fleets feature allows you to share text, photos, videos and more with your followers, with these posts only being viewable for 24 hours.

When sharing a photo in a Fleet, you have the option to add alt text to the photo before sharing it. Our guide will show you how this is done.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the Twitter application on iOS.

Step 1: Once you’ve taken or imported a photo in Fleets, tap the “Alt” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
