Creators on YouTube were able to earn money directly from fans on their livestreamed videos and Premieres, via Super Chat and Super Stickers, but fans had no way to support on-demand videos uploaded by creators until Tuesday’s introduction of Super Thanks.

Super Thanks are available at four price points between $2 and $50 (or the local currently equivalents for those outside of the U.S.), and fans who purchase them for creators will be able to post a distinct, colorful comment, which creators can respond to.
