Clubhouse and Outschool are the newest members of the Technology Coalition, an organization aiming to protect children from online sexual exploitation and abuse.

The Technology Coalition was formed in 2006, and its other members are Adobe, Amazon, Apple, Cloudflare, Discord, Dropbox, Facebook, Flickr, GoDaddy, Google, Mega, Microsoft, PayPal, Pinterest, Roblox, Snap Inc., TikTok, Twitter, Verizon, VSCO, Wattpad and Yubo.

The group kicked off its Project Protect initiative last June, calling it the technology industry’s most ambitious effort to date to eliminate online child sexual abuse material.

In its first progress report, released Thursday, the Technology Coalition detailed progress that has been made in areas including:

  • Hash technologies, which enable platforms to spot child sexual abuse material via unique identifiers.
