Music from Universal Music Group artists can now be included in Snapchat creative tools, such as augmented reality lenses and Snapchat Sounds, following a multifaceted global agreement between Snap Inc. and the music giant.
UMG’s entire recorded music catalog is now available worldwide on Snapchat Sounds, including via search and curated playlists, and the company is also developing AR music lens content featuring its artists that will be available in Lens Carousel and Lens Studio, along with opportunities to feature merchandise debuts and ecommerce experiences.
