Media Company Phenomenal Launches Book Club With Focus on Inclusivity

The first discussion will be on books The 1619 Project and Born On The Water

With a long-standing need for greater diversity in most industries, many companies have increased efforts in this regard over the last year and a half. However, with some questioning long-term commitment behind-the-scenes, brands specifically founded with inclusivity in mind are in a unique position to push new ideas forward.

Coinciding with 360-degree media company Phenomenal’s announcement that it will be expanding into entertainment, the brand is launching its Phenomenal Book Club. Choosing Nikole Hannah-Jones’ The 1619 Project and its kids’ companion book Born On The Water for its first discussion, it will feature a conversation via Zoom with Hannah-Jones alongside Nikkolas Smith and Phenomenal CEO and founder Meena Harris on Nov.
