Twitter’s Lead Generation Cards Now Open To All Advertisers

Following the limited release of Twitter’s new Lead Generation Cards back in May, Twitter has officially made the cards available to all advertisers.

In addition, the Lead Generation Cards come loaded with enhancements based on feedback from the advertisers who’ve been testing the functionality.

The new cards give businesses a way to register users and their emails for promotions or memberships directly within a tweet.

So when you click to expand a tweet that contains the Lead Generation Card, you’ll see an option to sign up with your Twitter handle and connected email already filled out:

Enhancements to the Lead Generation Cards include:

Simpler setup and lead collection: Basic setup now just takes several minutes, and you can download your leads straight from Twitter Ads into a CSV spreadsheet. You can also arrange for incoming leads to be instantly updated in your CRM system.

Card analytics: Pretty cool – you can now access metrics to help you optimize your card designs, such as cost per lead by card. The analytics are also accessible via your Promoted Tweet campaign reports.

New layouts: Twitter has added additional card layouts, for uses like coupon offers, newsletter subscriptions, and political campaign sign-ups.

All languages: The Lead Generation Cards are also now available in all languages supported on Twitter Ads. Note that Twitter Ads for Small Business is available only to U.S.-based advertisers tweeting in English.
