'What Is OKX?' Asks Global Cryptocurrency Brand Campaign

Realizing it has a name that is yet to resonate with consumers, a cryptocurrency brand has released a global campaign highlighting the various sports sponsorships it currently holds, generating the question “What is OKX?”

Answering that question, OKX claims to be the second biggest crypto exchange by trading volume, serving over 20 million customers globally.  

The multi-million-dollar campaign, created by BBDO New York, has been released to support the brand’s global market expansion—while attempting to build trust and familiarity with potential investors.

The full 84-second spot sees a man and a woman sitting in a pub next to the window, when the man spots a bus ad for the company, prompting him to ask, “What is OKX?” That leads them to speculate with several scenarios—that it is a science fiction series, a rapper, a breakfast cereal and several other possibilities, with vignettes showcasing each suggestion.
