Almost a year after the $40 billion merger of Virgin Media and O2, the resulting company has released its first major multimillion-dollar awareness campaign to promote its “Volt” proposition across the U.K.

Virgin Media O2 is the new company that launched last June, combining two of the U.K.’s largest communications and broadband providers. Both will continue to offer their respective products while introducing joint services in the future.

The multi-platform launch, devised by its recently retained creative agency VCCP, will be released on April 8 as it aims to convey the Volt offer’s ability to “supercharge” connectivity, highlighting the offer of Virgin Media broadband and O2’s mobile data offer to customers.
