Meta introduced a set of emergency relief features that make it easier for administrators of Facebook groups formed for those purposes to spur members to take action.

Admins will be able to give group members access to anonymous posts, events, files, question-and-answer sessions and, when the group becomes eligible, assisting or requesting help via the platform’s Community Help feature and raising money via nonprofit fundraisers.

When Instagram users search for nonprofits to raise funds for, the platform will begin surfacing organizations supporting humanitarian efforts in Ukraine at the top of the list in many countries globally, including Unicef and World Central Kitchen.

Facebook users in Ukraine will begin seeing a message at the top of Feed next week guiding them toward high-quality, timely information to stay safe, find family and friends and locate support services such as housing and immigration assistance.
