The integration of Instagram and Messenger From Facebook continued its momentum with the addition of several features Thursday, highlighted by the ability to start group chats across both applications.

Cross-app one-on-one messaging between Instagram and Messenger debuted last year and, with Thursday’s update, people can start group chats including their Instagram and Messenger contacts.

Messenger’s Polls feature is now available in Instagram DMs and cross-app group chats.

People in Instagram DM or Messenger chats, as well as cross-app group chats, will be able to see when friends are typing at the same time.
