Facebook released several new tools Wednesday aimed at helping community builders and group administrators manage and grow groups on its platform.

Facebook application vice president of communities Maria Smith said in a Newsroom post Wednesday that there are more than 70 million active admins and moderators currently running Facebook groups worldwide.

The centerpiece of the new product introductions Wednesday is Admin Home, a single destination for all admin features, settings and tools that can be customized to match admins’ needs.

Admins can now more easily: see what needs attention across posts, members and reported comments; find tools through a clearer, reorganized layout that shows what’s available under each category; and access new features that are rolled out in the future.
