TODAYshow.com, Immersive Media Offer 360-Degree View of Today's Vancouver Olympics Set
TODAYshow.com is showing its Olympic spirit by offering live, 360-degree interactive video of the set of NBC’s Today at Grouse Mountain in Vancouver, British Columbia, site of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Two 360-degree cameras are being used — one with interior views of the set, and the other capturing outdoor views at Grouse Mountain. TODAYshow.com is also incorporating imLIVE technology from Immersive Media, which enables viewers to use interactive controls and explore the set.
The next live use of the technology will be Thursday from 7 a.m.-10
