Cosmetics brand Urban Decay turned to Pinterest for a first-of-its-kind beauty campaign to back its latest eyeshadow offering, Naked Mini Palette.
Pinners can complete an image-based quiz to build a mood board of their life, and then receive a personalized recommendation of the palette that’s right for them.
Pinterest creators Ofunne Amaka and Jaleesa Jaikaran created beauty tutorials for each palette in the Naked Mini Palette collection—Foxy, Half Baked and Sin—using the platform’s recently introduced ad format, Idea Ads With Paid Partnership.
Jaikaran is a professional makeup artist who hosts Pinterest Creator Originals show Beauty BFF, said in a statement, “Pinterest has been a huge part of my journey as a makeup artist and creator—growing my presence on the platform and being able to work with brands like Urban Decay to show different ways beauty lovers can create their own looks using products I love.
