How Snapchatters Plan to Celebrate Mother’s Day, Father’s Day This Year

Covid-19 vaccine availability is spurring more plans for in-person gatherings

53% of Snapchatters globally plan to celebrate with their loved ones in person, with that number at 67% in the U.S.Snap Inc.

Mother’s Day and Father’s Day 2021 are about reunions for many Snapchatters, with the extended availability of Covid-19 vaccines prompting plans to finally meet in person again.

Surveys conducted by Snap Inc. found that 75% of Snapchat users plan to celebrate their parents or extended family on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, with 81% believing that spending time with them in-person was important.

The company said 53% of Snapchatters globally plan to celebrate with their loved ones in person, with that number at 67% in the U.S.,
