16 Brands on Twitter Get a Little March Madness of Their Own

The social network kicks off its Best of Tweets Brand Bracket

The brackets were set for the 2021 NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament Sunday, as were the brackets for Twitter’s Best of Tweets Brand Bracket, which will enable users to vote for their favorite brands on Twitter out of a group of 16.

The competing brands are broken out into four conferences.

Entertainment Twitter Conference:

  • Bravo
  • MTV
  • Spotify
  • Xbox

Food Twitter Conference:

  • Oreo
  • Pizza Hut
  • Skittles
  • Wendy’s

People’s Choice Conference:

  • Airbnb
  • Alexa
  • Doritos
  • Uber Eats

Sports Twitter Conference:

  • Bud Light
  • Gatorade
  • Geico
  • Mr. Peanut

Voting begins Monday, and a champion will be crowned April 2.

A Twitter spokesperson told Adweek, “We know the conversational nature of Twitter makes it a place where brands can be their most human-sounding selves. Brands can have two-way conversations with their audience that are real and unfiltered, and can’t be replicated anywhere else. With this bracket, we aim to celebrate those that do this the best—as selected by the people of Twitter.”
