YouTube Trades In LOL, OMG, WTF Buttons For Drop Down Reactions Menu

You may recall that back in June YouTube began testing a new feature that let users click on reaction buttons to decide whether or not a video was LOL, OMG, EPIC, CUTE, WTF or FAIL. This week they traded in the reaction buttons for a dropdown list that asks users whether they thought a video was funny, incredible, classic or cute.

You may recall that back in June YouTube began testing a new feature that let users click on reaction buttons to decide whether or not a video was LOL, OMG, EPIC, CUTE, WTF or FAIL.  Not much seemed to come of that test until now.  This week, YouTube rolled out a brand new feature called ‘Reactions’, though it takes on a slightly different form than the original test.

The latest iteration of the YouTube Reactions feature is a bit less Buzzfeed-esque.  They’ve traded in the internet slang acronyms like WTF and OMG for funny, incredible, classic, cute, what?, and ouch.  Additionally, they’ve traded in buttons for a drop down menu, which you can find alongside the comment box.
