WhatsApp recently added the ability for users to add new contacts through QR codes. Each user has a QR code they can share with others, and when someone scans their code, they will receive their number. Our guide will show you how to share your QR code.

Step 1: Tap “Settings” in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap the QR code icon to the right of your name.
Step 3: From there, another user can point their WhatsApp camera at your QR code (represented by the large black square in the image below) to receive your number.
