MIT Media Lab founder Nicholas Negroponte is an angel investor who’s funded more than 40 startups, including Wired. He is the author of the book Being Digital, and his latest project, One Laptop per Child, designs, manufactures and distributes low-cost, wireless Internet-enabled computers to children in the developing world.
