Did you know that you can turn on a gesture in the Reddit application that allows you to swipe to collapse comments? By default, you need to tap and hold on a comment thread to collapse it. Our guide will show you how to turn on the “swipe to collapse” gesture.

Step 1: Tap your profile picture in the top-left corner of the screen.
Step 2: Tap “Settings.”
Step 3: Under “Advanced,” tap the toggle to the right of “Swipe to collapse comments” to turn this gesture on. You can return to this menu at a later time and tap the toggle again if you ever want to turn this gesture off.
