The nominees for New Approaches to News and Documentary Programming: Documentaries were: The Boys of Christ Child House, Freep.com/Detroit Free Press; Frontline, pbs.org/frontline; and Intended Consequences, MediaStorm.org.

Finally, the nominees for New Approaches to News and Documentary Programming: Arts, Lifestyle and Culture were: Hope: Living and Loving with HIV in Jamaica, Livehopelove.com; P.O.V., PBS; Tate Liverpool, Tate.org; Tate Modern, Tate.org; and Vanguard, Current TV.
