Is Facebook Unveiling A Mobile Platform Next Wednesday?

Facebook has sent out invites to members of the press notifying them about a mobile event next Wednesday. While there is a ton of speculation about a “Facebook phone”, many have suggested that there is a modified version of Android that will have much deeper integration of Facebook. Developers have been waiting for Facebook to provide a more robust platform to launch applications on, and many consumers have articulated the desire to have a more integrated phone book that’s automatically updated by our social graph.
