Instant Previews Now Available With Google Mobile Search
Today is paczki day in Detroit. If you don’t know what a paczki is, you might do what most of us now do, take out your smartphone and do a search on paczki. If you are using Google for the search on an Android (2.2+) or iOS (4.0+) phone you now have a different way to view search results by using instant previews.
Google Instant Previews show the entire web page of a search result in a thumbnail image. When you perform a search you now see a magnifying glass next to each search result, tap the magnifying glass to see the thumbnail views. You then swipe left or right to scroll through the thumbnails, which you tap to then open the full page. Press the back button to return to the preview mode, and press back a second time to return to the search results list.
