IAC Launches Ask Mobile GPS
IAC, the company behind Ask.com, just started a new service for cellphones called Ask Mobile GPS (gps.ask.com).
Like a number of other mobile initiatives (particularly from the major portals like Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo), Ask Mobile GPS culls from a number of sources — including social networking, local maps, and GPS navigation — in order to answer questions on the go.
Currently, the service pulls information from Ask.com, Citysearch.com, and Evite.com. Later on, they’re expecting to add content from Ticketmaster.com,
