Facebook Traffic Triples in Japan

comScore released a study today which found that Facebook traffic for the past year ending in June, tripled from 172,000 visitors to 538,000. While Facebook has half the traffic of MySpace and a small fraction of Mixi, the leading Japanese social network (which attracted 56 million visitors in the same period), it is rapidly catching up. As many in the industry have suggested, the battle for social network users in Asia is far from over.
