Longtime BET Networks chairman and CEO Debra Lee is the latest addition to the board of directors at Twitter.
Lee has been with the media company since 1986, when she joined the company as vice president and general counsel following five years as an attorney with Washington, D.C.-based corporate law firm Steptoe & Johnson.
Twitter executive chairman Omid Kordestani made the announcement in a tweet:
