Aeria Games Launches Chaos Heroes Online in Closed Beta to Prep for Fall Release

Aeria Games’ upcoming multiplayer online battle arena game (MOBA) Chaos Heroes Online has entered closed beta, as the company prepares for a full launch of the title this Fall. In Chaos Heroes Online, players will compete against other real-world players, as two teams of five gamers work to destroy each other’s base. The game is the official successor of DotA Chaos, which started as a mod in Warcraft 3.

Battles in Chaos Heroes Online are limited to 50 minutes in length, and players have the ability to re-equip during battle, which opens up new tactics for existing fans of MOBA titles. In addition, players can buy items from anywhere on the map, without the need to travel back and forth to and from their team’s base.

Signups are now available for the beta, and those who sign up will receive a few rewards for their early support of the game. Here’s the breakdown of items, straight from Aeria Games:

“Players who sign up during the closed beta phase will receive exclusive skins for two popular Heroes in the game: MK-II Hadan, a cyborg version of the Undead Tank Hadan character (Immortal Legion faction), and Forest Dancer Silk, a gorgeous alternative to Lotus Mage Silk (Divine Union faction).”

The free-to-play game also provides users with a chance to support the title via premium Founder’s Packs, which are available in gold, platinum and diamond editions (each one limited to one per user). These offer users access to up to 20 different Heroes, each with an extra skin. They also contain up to six beta keys for users to share with their friends, among other items.

“We are really excited to start the Closed Beta and let players try out the game for themselves,” said Pascal Zuta, CEO of Aeria Games, in a statement. “We are confident that the challenging gameplay and map mechanics will resonate with MOBA players looking for new tactics and strategies.”
