Twitter Shakes Up Its Security Ranks as Peiter Zatko, Rinki Sethi Are Out

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal continued to shake up the executive ranks, this time focusing on the company’s security team.

The company confirmed reports that head of security Peiter Zatko is no longer with Twitter, and that chief information security officer Rinki Sethi will be departing in the coming weeks.

In a memo to employees obtained by Mike Isaac and Kate Conger of The New York Times, Agrawal wrote that the moves follow “an assessment of how the organization was being led and the impact on top priority work,” adding that he was limited with how much more he could share due to the “nature of this situation.”
