Pinterest will add the ability in the coming weeks for both Pinners and business accounts to self-select pronouns and add them to their profiles, where they will appear adjacent to the user name.

The discovery platform is marking Pride Month with its “Show Your True Colors” campaign, with the aim of driving action, celebration and inspiration among Pinners and creators.

A digital film featuring six LGBTQ+ Pinners and cultural icons was directed by Mollie Mills and produced by Platform 13.
