The Sensitive Content Control options Instagram introduced for its Explore feed last July were extended to all places on the platform where Instagram recommends content.

Sensitive Content Control is now available in Accounts You May Follow, hashtags, in-feed recommendations, Reels and search.

The three settings in Sensitive Content Control are:

  • More: Users can see more sensitive content if they prefer to do so.
  • Standard: Sensitive content will be less likely to appear in recommendations.
  • Less: Chances of interacting with sensitive content are reduced even further.
