Meta added new features to help administrators of Facebook groups keep their groups safe and healthy, thwart the spread of misinformation and manage and grow those groups.

Incoming posts that have been rated by Meta’s third-party fact-checkers as false can be automatically declined before they are posted to the group via Admin Assist, helping to reduce the visibility of misinformation.

The mute option was upgraded to suspend, giving admins and moderators the ability to temporarily suspend group members and participants from commenting, creating a Room, entering a Room, participating in a group chat, posting or reacting.
