Word Game Grabbler Wins Indian Facebook Developer Contest
Facebook has tapped an application winner in its Facebook Developer Contest – India, with the top prize going to word game Grabbler.
The game is the product of iPlaySocial, and has also garnered recognition as a fbFund 2009 Top 50 finalist. As winner of the Developer Contest, Grabbler developers will receive a $4,000 cash prize. Facebook also chose a winner in the Connect category, with music-sharing platform Muziboo.com taking top honors.
Grabbler is a clever spin on a turn-based word game, with players finding shaping words out of varying letters on a 12 x 12 grid.
