Two Boston Celtics Embrace Twitter
There have been several posts in this space on athletes using Twitter, athletes getting in trouble for tweets, coaches and leagues banning or restricting Twitter use and the like. But how about an athlete who says he spends six hours per day on Twitter?
Boston Celtics power forward Shelden Williams is that athlete, telling the Boston Herald that with his wife, Women’s National Basketball Association superstar Candace Parker, in Los Angeles with their infant daughter, he has plenty of idle time, so much so that he was temporarily booted from Twitter recently for tweeting too much in a short period of time.
