Twitter Users Can View Direct Messages Without Leaving Timeline

The feature rolled out for desktop

It's been a busy week for Twitter Twitter

Somehow, in the midst of dealing with a major security breach and a complete overhaul of its application-programming interface, Twitter found the time to release a new feature.

The social network revealed in a tweet that on desktop, direct messages can be viewed without users having to leave their timelines.
