Twitter is making its debut in the podcast arena with Tuesday’s debut of Character Count.

The first episode features advertising executives from Monterey Bay Aquarium discussing how it uses the social network to amplify its brand voice, and future guests will include representatives from Dropbox and Simon & Schuster.

New episodes will be available every two weeks via Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify and Stitcher.

A Twitter spokesperson said the goal of Character Count is to offer behind-the-scenes looks at brands that are effectively using the social network, adding that there are currently no plans to monetize the podcast. David Cohen is editor of Adweek's Social Pro Daily.
