Tweet via IM with TweetSwitch

London-based Comufy is looking to bait and TweetSwitch with the launch of its new client that allows users to send and receive tweets via instant-messaging clients, TechCrunch reported.

TweetSwitch allows users to choose whether to send and receive tweets from all followers, @ mentions and replies or direct messages only, or any combination of the three, according to TechCrunch, and it will soon add an option for Twitter Lists. Tweets can also be sent to more than one IM account at a time.

IM services currently supported are GTalk, AIM, ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live Messenger, with Skype on the way soon, TechCrunch reported.
