TV.com's Explosive Traffic Growth

TVWeek reports TV.com is posting major traffic increases. The site devoted to all things in TV entertainment was part of CBS Interactive’s acquisition of CNet.

For the month of January, Nielsen VideoCensus found that TV.com more than tripled its uniques from the month before. TVWeek writes, “Streams rose 13-fold and minutes of content viewed exploded with a 4435% increase.”

TV.com now airs full-length shows including CBS’s NCIS. It also broadcasts programs from other networks by embedding the players from other video sites, including Hulu, which some see as a rival to TV.com.
