Turn Your Android Smartphone Into A Comcast Remote
Back in November Comcast released the Xfinity TV app for the iPhone and iPad, and ever since I have been using it to remotely control our TVs using my iPad. Recently Comcast released the Xfinity TV app for Android, which brings the same remote control capabilities to Android smartphones.
The current version of Xfinity TV for Android supports browsing TV and On Demand listings, changing channels on a TV, and scheduling DVR recordings. Unlike the iPad version, the Android version currently does not play On Demand content, though that might come in a future release.
