TRUMPED: Donald Thinks He Can Shoot Someone, Not Lose Voters

There's confidence, then cockiness, and now this...

We are not even a month into the New Year, and mass shootings are once again at the top of the news cycle.

For those in PR who didn’t do so well in math, there are 365 days in a year — and in 2015, there were 372 mass shootingskilling 475 and wounding 1,870It was the worst year in U.S. history for homicide.

Last year was a year that gun haters and gun owners wish to forget. Yet, there’s one man who thinks holding a finger pistol into a TV camera is good for political mojo. A sentiment that would have even his closest confidants in communications reaching for the duct tape.

“I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, OK?” Trump remarked at a campaign stop at Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa. “It’s, like, incredible.”

Either he thinks the most staunch GOP supporters are so in love with him that he could pull a trigger and get applause, or he really is that delusional.

Reached by CNN immediately after the event, Trump declined to clarify the statement. On Twitter, he remarked on the rally, saying, “Just left Sioux Center, Iowa. My speech was very well received. Truly great people! Packed house- overflow!”

While the PR failing is comical to watch, it’s painful to see the reality show this presidential process is becoming, don’t you think? Isn’t there a crisis campaign for that moment?
