TringMe Rings Up Facebook Web-Calling App
TringMe wants Facebook users to find their calling. The voice-over-Internet-protocol provider launched an application on the social-networking service that allows users to make calls using its Flash-based Web phone, as well as to embed widgets to their profiles enabling Facebook friends to call them or contact them via short messaging service, TechCrunch reported.
The app lets users set up caller ID, send SMS messages via Facebook and leave voice mails. And users with TringMe accounts can integrate them with their Facebook accounts, according to TechCrunch.
