But guess what? A new video has surfaced on YouTube that proves that planking didn’t actually originate in Australia. That’s right—just days ago, a video was uploaded to Tom Green’s YouTube channel, featuring Tom Green planking all the way back in 1994.
In the 17-year old video, aptly titled ‘Tom Green Created Planking – 1994’, Green lays down, face to the pavement, on a busy city sidewalk.
