Survey: Face To Face Communication Most Likely To Drive Product Searches

According to a survey published by eMarkter, and conducted by BIGresearch for the Retail Advertising & Marketing Association (RAMA), face to face communication is the biggest driver for people to start an online search for a specific product or service.

Interestingly, cable TV and radio also beat out online communities such as Facebook and MySpace when it comes to driving search.

On the other hand, another recently released study from Rice University revealed that Facebook Fan Pages created “more loyal customers” for brands.
