The latest addition to Facebook’s FbStart program for mobile application startups is access to up to $50,000 in payment processing from its newest partner company, Stripe.
The social network also revamped the FbStart website, saying that startups can now learn more about the program and members can access a portal where they can review their benefits, see FbStart news and interact with other members.
Michael B. Huang, who works on strategic partner development for Facebook, wrote in a post on the social network’s developer blog:
Today we are announcing that FbStart members (both Bootstrap and Accelerate) will now have access to up to $50,000 in payment processing from Stripe, which joins the 17 other partner companies providing FbStart benefits.
We will reach out to existing FbStart members soon to explain how to log into the site and redeem their Stripe benefits.
